Fava Trading was founded in 1997 under the name Chemcare Ltd. Mario Fava, the founder and Managing Director, graduated in Hotel Mangement from the School of Hotel Catering and Tourism Studies in July of 1985 and furthered his studies at the Scuola Internazionale di Scienze Turistiche in Rome.
After having worked in the tourism industry for more than fifteen years, occupying top management positions locally and abroad, Mario was ambitious to start his own business. This ambition led to the establishment of Fava Trading, which was then a small business trading as Chemex – Malta with three other partners.
Subsequently, Mario took over the business five years later in 2002, introducing his wife and partner, Alessandra, into the business as director in charge of administration and importation.
To this day, Mario and Alessandra are still very much involved in the running of their business which has grown substantially to include a large number of world-renowned brands.
Fava Trading retains the majority of its clients through excellent service and reliability. Customers have come to recognize the company as a one-stop shop that supplies them with all their necessities; from cleaning products to tableware, equipment & furnishings, distinguished wines from world-famous regions, and anything they might need for their establishment.
